about
Wild Wild Fields" is a traditional deck of cards ranging from 2s to Aces and Jokers. It consists of 56 illustrations featuring well-armed girls sporting authentic 17th-century clothing. Some illustrations include precise depictions of existing monuments or iconographic presentations from the 17th century. The only difference is that the author of the drawings Bartek Drejewicz made the clothing more feminine. For you history aficionados, a search for historical references might be a good fun. For the lovers of female beauty, the deck is a set of drawings featuring pretty girls who, while alluring, are never vulgar. For playing card fanatics, it is a perfectly prepared and printed deck of cards which meets all the standards for modern card production (the cards were printed by CARTAMUNDI).
The deck is divided into four colours. Hearts represent the domestic order troops of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, i.e. the famous hussars, Petyhorcy (Circassians), Lisowczyk mounted troops, Polish Tatars, etc. Diamonds are the powers of the eastern part of Europe: Russia, Turkey, regions of the Ukraine and the Tartars. Spades are the foreign order troops of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and mercenaries which could be found within the territory of the Commonwealth. Clubs represent armies from the western part of Europe, chiefly Swedish, but also English, Scottish and German. In contrast to many other decks, all cards are beautifully illustrated and each of the four Jokers is depicted as a musician from the army of the corresponding colour.
